This Cincinnati Roebling Bridge tile was created to commemorate the historical bridge that connects the city of Cincinnati to Covington, Kentucky.
The tile was designed and scultped by Rookwood artist Gary Simon in 2008 but has been brought back as a second edition.
No avenue in any of the large capitals of Europe could now compare in beauty of grandeur with that long vista which would be presented by the line of Vine Street on the one side, continued in a straight course by Scott Street on the opposite shore, and connected across the river through the imposing arches of the great towers of the suspension bridge.
